Finally

Have you been watching the countdown clock?

Do you know what tomorrow is?

Oh yes, the pool is finally opening.

A few things we have missed during the long, long, long winter:

Doing cool jumps off the diving board

Maybe this year Hayden will jump off the diving board too

Building sand castles in the sand volleyball court

Working your shift as a lifeguard

Waiting on the diving board for adult swim to be over just to be the first kid in the pool

Hanging out with your friends

Hanging out with your brother

Hanging out with your girls, poolside.

Taking a nap in the shade after a busy day of swimming

And yum, yum, yummy drumsticks from the snack bar on a hot summer day.

Happy Summer! See you at the pool!

It warm enough for the pool? You're lucky. It's still a little brr brr here for that. Keep your fingers crossed the sun does it's job this weekend. Enjoy the pool!!!

Great pool memories. My oldest son is about to turn 13 and he's not as much into the pool. Next is 11 and he is getting same way. Youngest is 8 and he still loves it.
We are heading to Colorado next week for the first time--Downtown and then Estes Park. So excited!

As a pool builder and service guy my husband refuses to go to a public pool. Having said that, we have yet to get a pool of our own since building has slowed so badly. I finally broke down and got one of those above ground pools. He is mortified. I guess he can stand there being hot and mortified while we swim in our new pool! Great pics...looks like a blast!

LOVE the pool!!! I can't wait to get to our lake house and do the same things, only in the murky, green waters or Iowa's finest. ;) As long as they don't mind the color and daddy keeps the tube filled with air, I somehow don't think they will.

Hey cool...good to see hm munching ice cream

I believe kids must be fed with the right stuff which will help them stay active and alert

Obesity and related incidence of heart diseases and strokes are caused by the huge amount of refined carbohydrates we eat. This comes primarily as white flour (in breads, crackers, pastas, tortillas, cakes, cookies, donuts, pastries, pretzels, potato(French fries and potato chips) and sugar, corn syrup and other sweeteners. Are you in constant battle with your child about food? Are you concerned about health and weight of your child? I am a mom who was in constant battle to feed my kid right food, then I found an useful resource "Feeding your Kids" program which has worked wonders for me.
